A Pocketful of Sunshine

Why I do it? Seriously, no idea. Some people love gadgets, some food, I guess Twilight is my thing. Combine that with my love for yoga and husband's passion for photography - you get a crazy couple, walking down a lone dark path, towards rugged cliff-line overlooking the sea.

Add to this scene a random pole and the circus becomes even more entertaining.

That's him, trying to be the human flag!!

My Human flag attempts were abysmal, so I just tried to look pretty!!
The twilight time in Sydney last Saturday was around 5:40am and sunrise time 6:20am. It would keep decreasing by one minute every day, till the Summer Solstice (22 December 2015) when the sun would rise at 5:40 am. After that each sunrise would be a minute later. I want to capture as many moments as possible before it becomes too difficult to wake up in the morning (believe me I am a cranky morning person), specially since the beaches are about 45 minutes drive away from my home.

One cannot deny the magic of Golden hour.

Waiting for the Sun to show up

And there it is... lighting up the world.
I am no expert, just a learner trying to change the lifestyle I have been living all these years, but ever since I started, it had been my dream to do yoga photoshoots against beautiful backdrops. My husband does take a lot of coaxing and bribing, and is extremely picky ... but well, I have to say he is quite amazing :)

Sharing with you shots from the last three photoshoots :D

A handful of sunshine!!
My brother did a total zhand of me on FB saying -  Langri tang pey Mooh khol ke Rahu ki tarah suraj ko nigaltey huye photo lo, that will be new pose n then quote mouthful of sunshine.
Although I felt like giving him a Hulk Smash, I am still laughing at that "mouthful of sunshine" comment

When you are photobombed by a bird

Just trying to look philosophical and creative and all those sort of things!!
My husband runs a photography page too - Vivid Lights Studio. Would welcome your comments and brickbats :)

Have a beautiful week ahead!!
