Quietude

Yoga Every Damn Day As a part of A to Z April Blogging challenge, I am going to post a series of Yoga poses. Don't worry I will keep it simple and crisp... and try not to make it boring. {All pictures are mine, clicked by my dear husband}

It's strange but the most awaited moment of my yoga practice is when everything is over and I am cooling down the body. With music playing at the background, I close my eyes and as I do some final spinal twist, I could feel a stillness in my mind. I absolutely love that feeling. The Shavasana brings more quietitude. I watch the rise and fall of my belly, feeling the heart rate return to its normal beat.

The Quest for inner peace, lies within us.

Day 13 - Mermaid Pose
Day 14 - Navasana
Day 16 - Pigeon Pose

  19. Shavasana is my most favourite pose and I always wish it was longer 'cause (1) I can do that pose! and (2) I love the peace, quiet, and relaxation that comes with it. I swear if it was long enough, I would take a nap! ;) I bet that's why it's so short! ;) <3

  21. Rajlakshmi, I am enjoying the yoga experience. I have forgotten most of my beginners lessons and would be grateful if you can send me a detailed thing for daily 20 minutes yoga. Got a book but it doesn't seem to be enough.
