“What do you want from life? Are you on the right track? Are you truly happy? If your answer to these questions is ‘F?@k knows!’, then this book is for you.”

The only way to find out the F?@king answers to all these F?@king questions is to get a copy of the book and read it. The book doesn’t say what you should do but it provides an insight into life through real life incidences that author faced. The words inspire one to look beyond the F?@king realm of boundaries that we have set for ourselves. It makes you wonder about the wide possibilities of choosing a different track. Many would be able to relate to the content as atleast once one must have faced a similar F?@king situation, whether it’s parental pressure on choice of profession or marriage or unfaithful friends.

The book reflected my mindset. It was timely I must say because I was asking myself the same questions about my choices, my future and the work I was involved in. Depending on the emotional temperament of reader, the content can be valued. I was intrigued by the author’s concept of “Khud khushi” and Chi F?@k. The book also speaks about transition of author’s attitude towards life.

Having said that some of the thoughts and ideas were repetitive, some chapters sounded so similar that you didn’t even have to completely read them to get the summarized idea. I am not a fan of motivating or inspiring books, but it’s the author’s in-your-face humor and light language kept me engrossed till the end.

No unrealistic goals have been set by the author; whatever he has said and done is plausible if only one could summon up enough courage to walk the untrodden path. Some of the stories tug at your heart while others makes you ask the big question – “Are you really happy?”.

The “tips to read the book” was absolutely hilarious. And if you don’t follow it, beware you might end up being philosophically overloaded.

Author -
Shailendra Singh has B.T.D.T.—Been there. Done that. Some know him as a ‘sports marketing guru’, some as an ‘advertising whizz’ or ‘Bollywood producer’, and many acknowledge him as a shrewd ‘dealmaker’. He’s conceptualized the most famous and long-lasting campaigns for India’s biggest brands, managed and helped adjust the jockstraps of India’s most respected cricketers, and launched the careers and egos of the country’s biggest celebrities. He’s opened a direct line of communication with India’s youth by creating massive music festivals, is emerging as Asia’s largest music promoter, and has produced over sixty Bollywood movies. He has worked on awareness campaigns for HIV/AIDS, cancer and piracy. He enjoys short trots on the beach, any sport that uses a ball, and sugar. This is his first, and hopefully not last, attempt at writing a book.
He had produced movies like Pyaar mei kabhi kabhi and Phir Milenge and in the book he talks about his ideas and motive behind the movie which I must say is very noble.
