Photo Blog:: Shillong Trip I

Hiyaaa... after a long beautiful rejuvinating vaccation... I am back to the scorching city of Chennai ...

Enjoyed the Continuous summer rain that drenched me in Dibrugarh... the shivering cold in Cherrapunji was a refreshing break... shopping spree continued in Guwahati too... while cool breeze in Shillong embraced me... Jorhat - my hometown was draped in colors of Rongali bihu.

Will give a detail account later ... as of now enjoy some of the snapshots from Shillong - the Scotland of the East :)

SHILLONG PEAK

ELEPHANT FALLS

Located outside the Shillong city, this waterfall was in the shape of an Elephant, which was destroyed by an earthquake.

The footpath leads to the bottom of the falls, which reaches a small lake.
